New Vodafone Website
It is one of the most popular local websites, particularly because it offers free texting to mobile phones in Fiji. Yes, Iam talking about Vodafone Fiji. I read from another blog which gave me the link to their new website. Check it out!

I think this is Vodafone company standard. I don't think Oceanic copied anything if thatz what u mean.

Infact these are different companies running under some sort of franchise agreement I believe. All quite different. If there truly were same then we could have expected similar tariffs don't you think?
I dont see why these two websites should look the same, unless the same company made them!
But still, the addressing in the vmail area is superb! These guys at Oceanic have given it the WEB 2.5 look.
Vodafone all over the world has a standard that all countries need to follow, be it in online or offline or TV ads. In fact they have a big manual on it and they follow it like religion. In fact all big and multinational companies have one.
This was the standard that was followed hence the similar looking sites.
However its not the design one should focus onto because people do not visit a site over and over because it looks "pretty" but because it full-fills a need in the most simplest of the way. The navigation should be fast and intuitive.
If this is being achieved I think the sites nailed it.
As for the traffic ...it can't be standard because it is relative to the economy and grounds of doing business in that particular country dictates it.
Wonder what happens if vmail is removed from this site. On another note, can't wait for Digicel to get its well deserved license. It was really funny how Digicel won sponsorship of the Fiji Rugby team over VF- ps I dont think you know how to make your own website. if you can please link I am sure people will have a lot to write about it.
